Special Meetings

  1. The Senate may call a special meeting.

  2. The Chair may call a special meeting. Notice must be given in the Stanford Daily, if it is being published, on the day before or the day of such meeting. If the Daily is not being published the Chair of the Senate shall make a reasonable effort to contact every member.

  3. Upon written request of any ten regular members of the Senate, the Chair shall call a special meeting for the time requested, or, if no time is specified, within seventy-two hours of receiving the request. Notice must be given in the Stanford Daily on the day of such meeting if the Daily is being published. If the Daily is not being published the Chair of the Senate shall make a reasonable effort to notify every member.
