- The Committees of the Senate shall meet
at least once between regular meetings of the Senate, unless
there is no business to transact.
- The Chair of a Committee of the Senate
may call special meetings of his/her committee. Upon the written
request of two members of the committee, the Chair shall call
a special meeting for the time requested or, if no time is specified,
within forty-eight hours of receiving the request.
- A majority of the elected Senators on
a Committee of the Senate shall constitute a quorum to conduct
business.
- Complete records of all actions taken
by a Committee of the Senate during committee meetings shall
be made available to the Senate.
- Special joint meetings of two or more
Committees of the Senate may be called by the Chairs of the concerned
committees, or upon the written request of two members of each
of the concerned committees. In the latter case, the Chairs
of the concerned committees shall call a joint meeting for the
time requested by the petitioning members or, if no time is specified,
within forty-eight hours of receiving the request.
