- Any interviews of applicants for positions on the
Commission shall be held jointly by the Committee on Committees
and members of the Council of Presidents.
- A member of the Council of Presidents, the Senate Chair or a member
of the Senate designated by the Chair, and
the Committee Staff Assistants shall serve as ex-officio
members of the Commission.
- No member of the Commission shall, during his/her
term, hold an elected office of the Association.
- No member of the Commission shall, during his/her
term, apply for a position for which the Commission is responsible
for nominating someone.
- The Committee on Committees and the Council of
Presidents shall submit their nominations of candidates to serve on
the Commission no later than the fourth Senate meeting of Autumn Quarter.
At that time, the Committee on Committees and the Council shall nominate
one of the members to serve as Chair of the Commission.
- Provided that they have been confirmed by the Senate, the
newly-appointed members of the Commission shall be known as voting
members and take office on the first day
of Spring quarter, and shall serve a one-year term, ending on the last day
of Winter Quarter.
