Placement on the Ballot in Extenuating Circumstances

If a student organization has completed one of the above procedures within 21 days of the general election then the Council of Presidents and the Senate may, if they determine that extenuating circumstances prevented an earlier completion of one of these procedures, authorize the placement of a Special Fee on the ballot for Association consideration. In this case within two days after authorization, the Senate shall give public notice in the Stanford Daily or through the inclusion in an election pamphlet/handbook of the Special Fee(s) and their amount(s) to be placed on the ballot for student consideration.
