I'll be happy to write it for you, if you send me a list of what you'll use it for. John, Thanks for offering to help. I talked to Don & he said that the bill needs to be sent out to senate-elect@leland by tomorrow at 7pm (72 hours before the meeting). If you can't make that deadline he'll send a memo out with essentially the attached information. Should you need more details I can give you even more numbers ;-) Call at any time or email me if there is any problem or you need more information. -ofer 725-8086 327-2904 Summary: -------- We requesting to release our reserves to partially fund our operating budget for fiscal 96-97. Our original budget was $103,000. Following the loss of our special fee in the recent election we have re-written a new bare-bones budget with a goal of maintaining KZSU on the air. Major cuts have been made in the news service, Renewal of old equipment and phone service. The new budget is for approximately $51,600. While we cannot continue at this level of funding in the long term, we intend to use this year to develop and re-organize our funding structure so as to continue providing the same level of service we have had in the past. We anticipate raising approximately $30,000 from sources such as underwriting, broadcast fees, gifts and intend to supplement that by our ASSU reserves of $21,500. The following is the bare-bones budget for fiscal 96-97: operations: 5,296 promotions/publicity: 1,450 music: 1,427 news: 100 sports: 15,250 engineering: 3,110 facilities: 8,660 salaries: 16,349 Total: 51,642 Other Income: 30,000 Deficit: 21,642
