Action requested: Approval; requires majority vote
- WHEREAS
- the Association has just adopted a new Constitution, and
- WHEREAS
- the current Bylaws conflict with the new Constitution, and
- WHEREAS
- insufficient time remains int the current academic year to
adopt new bylaws, without resorting to extraordinary measures, and
- WHEREAS
- Bylaws are necessary to the functioning to the Association
- THEREFORE
- be it
resolved by the Senate of this Association
- THAT
- until the approval of the new Bylaws, the Senate of the
Association will operate under the current Bylaws, and
- THAT
- where the current Bylaws conflict with the Constitution, the
Senate of the Association will follow the intent of the new Constitution.
