To Clarify Problems with the Current Bylaws

Action requested: Approval; requires majority vote

WHEREAS
the Association has just adopted a new Constitution, and

WHEREAS
the current Bylaws conflict with the new Constitution, and

WHEREAS
insufficient time remains int the current academic year to adopt new bylaws, without resorting to extraordinary measures, and

WHEREAS
Bylaws are necessary to the functioning to the Association

THEREFORE
be it resolved by the Senate of this Association

THAT
until the approval of the new Bylaws, the Senate of the Association will operate under the current Bylaws, and

THAT
where the current Bylaws conflict with the Constitution, the Senate of the Association will follow the intent of the new Constitution.
