- My new ultra-portable (Libretto replacement): a 800 MHz Pentium III JVC
(Victor) Interlink 7210
with 384Mb of RAM and 30Gb of disk, currently still running Windows XP
Professional, Japanese edition.
- My less portable laptop: a 500MHz Pentium 3 Toshiba Portege
7140 with 192Mb of RAM and either 6Gb of disk when I run Windows, or
40Gb when I run Linux.
- The best laptop I have ever had: a 233 MHz Toshiba Libretto 110CT with 64Mb of
RAM, 20Gb of disk, running SuSE Linux 7.2 (kernel 2.4.4-4GB) and Windows 98
when I need to make a presentation (or to work on one on the road).
It is now defunct :-(
- An old Sager ... with 20Mb of RAM, 512Mb of disk, and not running much
lately.
