                      WORLDWIDE INDIAN NETWORK

Rights of Members to Use the Network ("task50")
               ------------------------------------------------

All members have the right to use the Network for a good
cause. Currently, the Worldwide Indian Network (WIN) has over
1,300 members throughout the United States, and over 200 members
in twenty-three other countries. When requesting the Network to
take action on an issue, you should e-mail the following
information to the "Panel of Judges" (pj-win@cs.stanford.edu):

	   1. Your identity (full name, e-mail address, postal address,
	      and telephone number).

	   2. A brief statement of the issues and facts of the case.

	   3. Proposed action by the Network (e.g., what do you hope the
	      Network will accomplish).

	   4. Any information that you feel will help the panel assess
the case and your proposed plan of action.

The panel will review each proposal with great care. It will
be up to the panel to decide whether to adopt the proposal. If
the decision is affirmative, the Network will form a committee
and invite members to join it. The proposing member should be
an active participant in the committee. The committee will plan
the Network's future course of action on that issue and will
monitor its progress (see "task51"). Only through strong member
initiative can the Network make a difference.
